About QIIQ
An independent studio, not a small agency in disguise.
QIIQ exists because small businesses often have technology problems that are too specific for off-the-shelf software, but too small to justify a large agency project.
It is run by an experienced software engineering manager. That includes designing, building, and running production software, and translating between technical systems and the actual business problem. The useful move is usually a simple shape, explained without a lecture on architecture.
There is also a second, quieter line of work in smart homes — Home Assistant, dashboards, the unglamorous networking — for people who want the capability without becoming the administrator.
QIIQ is small on purpose: senior attention on a specific problem, without a team to keep busy.
